I saw a schoolmaster in the Maghrib country, who was sour-faced, of uncouth speech, ill-humoured, troublesome to the people, of a beggarly nature and without self-restraint, so that the very sight of him disgusted the Musalmans and when reading the Quran he distressed the hearts of the people.
A number of innocent boys and little maidens suffered from the hand of his tyranny, venturing neither to laugh nor to speak because he would slap the silver-cheeks of some and put the crystal legs of others into the stocks.
In short, I heard that when his behaviour had attained some notoriety, he was expelled from the school and another installed as corrector, who happened to be a religious, meek, good and wise man. He spoke only when necessary and found no occasion to deal harshly with anyone so that the children lost the fear they had entertained for their first master and, taking advantage of the angelic manners of the second, they acted like demons towards each other and, trusting in his gentleness, neglected their studies, spending most of their time in play, and breaking on the heads of each other the tablets' of their unfinished tasks.

Juhayafah radiyallahu anhu reports that: "Rasulullah sallallahu alaihe
wasallam said: 'I do not lean when I have meals.'."
Commentary: To lean and eat is against humility, and it drives one to
eat more. Some people are of the opinion that it results in creating a
large tummy, and the food also does not digest quickly. Sayyidina Rasulullah
sallallahu alaihe wasallam mentions himself so that he may be emulated.
The Ulama write that there are four methods of leaning, and all four are
included here. The first is to lean with either side of the body against
a wall, pillow, or something. The second is to lean with the palms on
the ground. The third is to sit cross legged on a pillow. The fourth method
is to lean with the back on a large pillow or wall. All these postures
are included in the above prohibition.

INGREDIENTS
½
kg chicken fillet cubed - 1 tsp ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp fresh chilli
paste - ½ tsp white pepper - 1 tsp white pepper - 1 tsp salt
- 6 Tbsp soya sauce - ¼ cup tomato sauce - 1 egg beated - ½
cup cornflour - Oil for deep fryin.
Sauce
¼
cup oil - 1
large onion, chopped - 1
med green pepper cubed - 1
med red pepper cubed - 1
tsp garlic, crushed - ¼
cup chilli sauce - 4
Tbsp soya sauce - 1
½ cup tomato sauce - ¼
tsp zeal - ½
cup spring onions, chopped.
Combine all ingredients and marinate chicken for 1 hr. Deep fry chicken in batched in medium hot oil until golden brown. Remove and place on paper towel. Heat oil, fry the peppers and remove with slotted spoon.
In the same oil, fry onions and garlic until soft. Stir in the sauces, zeal and cook for a few minutes. Add chicken to the sauces and mix well and add the fried peppers. Garnish with spring onions. Serve with noodles or rice.
