Alhamdulillah, Praise is for Allah who has made the month of Ramadhaan one of the greatest months in the year. He (Subhaanahu Wa Ta'ala) showed us favour by allowing us to fast its days and pray during its nights. Its days are honoured with fasting, while its nights are brightened with prayer.
I praise Allah and thank Him for the favours that He has shown us. I bear witness that there is no god or deity worth of worship except Allah alone. He (Subhaanahu Wa Ta'ala) is the one who is fully Complete and Perfect in all respects. I bear witness that Muhammed (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) is Allah’s slave and Final Messenger. He is the greatest of those who prayed and fasted. He (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) was the most pious and obedient. I ask Allah to send His Salah on Him (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) and his companions.
Amma Ba'du: O Mankind! The greatness, beauty, honours and prestige of the month of Ramadhaan is directly correlated with the actions of devotion that are sanctioned and obligated in it. Obedience to Allah is encapsulated in the total submission to Allah. Spiritual devotions restrict the self from following its whims and evil desires. The soul takes over the physical presence. It initiates actions of piety that allow it to accept Allah’s blessing more readily.
Ibad
Allah! The new moon signalled to the all Muslims, in the east and west,
the beginning of a month (Ramadhaan) that is to bring forth a positive
change in the character, habits and deeds of all who observe it. After
eleven months, once again the Muslims ask where did the time go? The month
of Ramadhaan returned very quickly, and with it the fond memories of devotion
and 'Ibada. Time marches on, unfazed and unrelenting in its consumption
of day and night. A person, forty years old, may wake up one day and ask
himself where have all the days and nights that he has lived gone. read

It is reported by Sayyadatina Aisha RA that if a person was ailing in some part of his body, or if he had a wound, the Prophet would do with his finger as such, and Sufyãn put the tip of his finger in the ground, then lifted it, and said: Bismillãh turbatu 'ardhinã, bireeqati ba`dhinã, yusfãa saqeemunã, bi'ithni rabbinã… In the name of Allah, the dust of the earth, with the saliva of some of us, our sick is remedied with the permission of our Lord. Al-Bukhãri's translation by Hilãli and Khãn in a footnote says that: While reciting the charm (ruqyã) The Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam took some of his saliva on his index finger and touched the earth with it and applied the resulting mixture to the place of ailment.

SUCCULENT
GARLIC STEAK
Ingredients
1 Kg tenderised steak - cut into pieces - 1 tsp salt - 1 tsp fine red
chillies - 1/2 tsp ground black pepper - 1/2 cup tomatoe juice - 2 tbsp
viegar - 1/4 cup oil - 4 -5 tbsp mayonnaise - 1 tbl garlic.
Method
Mix all the ingredients together and marinate steak overnight. Place steak
in the oven tray and cover with foil. Place in 200 degree preheated oven
for 20 min. Turn steak and lower heat to 160 degree. Cover with foil again
and bake for a further 20 min. Remove foil and grill for 5- 10 minutes
on each side. Brush with ghee and serve with garlic potatoes. Alternate-
braai the steak.
Ml Yusuf mentioned the importance of correct upbringing of children which plays a vital role in the way their lives, thinking and behaviour are shaped in later years. Whether living in an Islamic society or not, it is surely difficult to expose children to an ideal Islamic environment all the time, when they are easily influenced by friends, school buddies, family and media. It is impossible too, to shield our kids from negative forces and bad attractions. However, Ml Yusuf has provided few helpful tips to make this amaanat, this task easy as a parent. Keeping in mind that a child is a trust given to a parent by Allah Ta’aala, hence if the child veers off the true and correct path as a result of poor upbringing, the parents, both mother and father would be held accountable. Driving along a country road, I ignored a Bridge Out sign and continued on. But in a few miles I came to a stop: The road was completely barricaded. So I turned around and retraced my route. That's when I saw this sign on the back of the first: "It was, wasn't it?"
