THE MONTH OF RAJAB
Glorified be He who carried His servant by night from the inviolable place of worship (Makkah) to the far distant place of worship (The Masjid of Jerusalm) and from there to the highest of skies.
We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship besides Allah Ta'aala, alone who has no partner. We also bear witness that our Master and Leader, Muhammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam, His servant and messenger is the best of all men. May Allah's salutations and peace be upon Him, His family and companions who unveiled the darkness of disbelief.
Verily the month of Rajab has approached. In this month some orders are more important than others. On entry of Rajab, Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam used to make the supplication (Duaa) "O Allah bless us in the month of Rajab and Shabaan and lead us to the month of Ramadaan." (Baihaqi)
There exist a number of narrations concerning fasting on certain days of the month.
Firstly, though some of these chains of narrators reach Nabi Sallallahu alaihi Wa Sallam, they are unauthentic and mostly weak (Because of defects in the narrators). Many are also totally fabricated Ahaadeeth.
Secondly, it has been narrated in another Hadeeth by Kharashah "I saw Umar Radiyallahu Anhu hitting the palms of the people for fasting in Rajab, until they left it by eating."
Thirdly, ina Mawqoof report (A report not established as a statement of Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam but confirmed to be of His companion). Abu Hurairah Radiyallahu Anhu reports "A person who fasts on the 27th of Rajab, will be rewarded by Allah Ta'aala with the reward of fasting for 60 months."
These are few reports on the issue which have been said to be established in the Sunnah. The third report allows fasting, but the fast should not be considered as Sunnah, the reason being that the narration is not said by Nabi Sallallahu alaihi Wa Sallam.
By the other narrations we learn that certain fix days in Rajab should not be stipulated for fasting in order to protect yourself from misinterpreting the rules of the Shariah. Mention must also be made of the 27th night which is adopted as a function (Day or night) . This has been an innovation by the general public or their leaders who are in the issue, as ignorant as their followers.
I seek refuge with Allah from Shaytaan, the accursed.
Allah Ta'aala says: "And you (O Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) will travel through the stages of (the skies)."

WHEN UNABLE TO PASS URINE DUE TO STONES IN THE BLADDER OR FOR ANY OTHER REASON.
When this happens recite the following Duaa:
"Raabu nallahullazi fis samaa, taqaddas mook, amruka fis samaai wal ardh, kama rahmatuka fis samaai faj ‘al rahmataka fil ardh wagh firlana hoobanaa wa khataayaanaa anta raabut tayyibeen fa anzil shifaa an min shifaa ika wa rahmatam mir rahmatika ala haathal waja"
Our Rabb is the one in the skies. Your name is pure. Your command prevails in the heavens and earth. Even as your mercy prevails in the heavens, let it prevail on the earth. Forgive our sins and shortcomings. You are the sustainer of the good and pure people. Do send down cure and mercy from their sources and remove this pain (of mine).

KARAHI
GHOST – LAMB CURRY
Ingredients
1kg Lamb cut into small pieces 1 tsp crushed Jeeru - 1 tbls Oil 1 tsp
red chilli powder, fine - 1 tblsp freshly grated garlic 1 tsp crushed
chillies - 1 tblsp freshly grated ginger 2 tsps crushed coriander seeds
- 2/3 green chillies sliced ½ tsp turmeric - 1 tsp salt or to taste
2 medium onion chopped - 4/5 tblsps ghee 1 tblsp tomato paste/puree -
Coriander leaves, spring onion to garnish A few cardamom pods, cloves,
stick cinnamon.
Method
1. Marinate the lamb with oil, garlic, ginger, green chillies and salt
for about two hours.
2. Sauté onions, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and cumin seeds in
ghee until brown.
3. Stir in chillie powder, crushed chillies, coriander seeds and turmeric
and braise for 1 minute.
4. Add meat and braise well, lower the heat and cook till the meat is
tender.
5. Stir in tomatoes and tomato paste/puree. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
6. Adjust salt to taste.
7. Garnish and serve with rice and Butter Naan.
