SURAH AL- Jinn 72: (Jinns)
This
Surah is Makki. It has 28 verses and 2 sections.
With the name of Allah, The Beneficent, The Very- Merciful
"Verily when we heard the guidance, we believed in it. Whoever believes in his Rabb has neither loss nor humiliation to fear" [13] "Certainly some of us are Muslims while some of us are oppressors. Those who accept Islam have surely sought the path of good" [14] "As for the oppressors, they shall be fuel for Jahannam" [15]
COMMENTARY: In last weeks lesson we spoke about how the Jinn accepted the fact that they have a lot in common with humans. Just like humans, there are some of them that turn away from Allah Ta’aala and just like humans, they will never be able to run and hide from Allah Ta'aala.
This weeks Aayaat carries on with the same subject i.e. the Jinn accept that they are simply a creation of Allah just like humans. When they heard Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam reading Quraan, they believed in it and realized that complete success lies in belief in Allah. They understood that just like humans, those who believe are rightly guided and those who reject are on the wrong path and will be punished.

* Police yesterday arrested two security guards and seized 200 guns from a security company that received a multi-million rand contract from the eThekwini municipality last year.
* An ANC chief whip at a district municipality in Mpumalanga was killed in the Mhala district. Johan Holme Ndlovu's body was found by family members in a bush after an unidentified man told his wife where to find him, Captain Leonard Hlathi said.

* More than 3 million southern Sudanese are expected to overwhelmingly vote for independence in a referendum scheduled to be held on Jan. 9. While there have been fears of independence and even renewed war in Sudan, lots of northerners still bear a ray of hope for national unity.
* Pakistani police are on high alert in Lahore for the funeral of Salman Taseer. The outspoken provincial governor was shot dead by a bodyguard, apparently for opposing the country's blasphemy laws.

Black Tea
Drink black tea hot or cold for a number of health benefits. Black tea contains a number of antioxidants (compounds that help the body fight free radicals--chemical by-products known to damage DNA). One of those antioxidants is quercetin (also found in apples and onions), a substance said to combat inflammation and support healthy immune function.
A 2009 population study of 1,040 elderly adults found that long-term intake of black and/or green tea was associated with lower prevalence of diabetes. In a laboratory study published that same year, scientists discovered that compounds extracted from black tea were more effective at slowing the absorption of blood sugar than those extracted from green tea and oolong tea.
Depending on how strong it's brewed, black tea contains about 50 mg of caffeine per cup. Green tea contains 8 to 30 mg per cup. Coffee contains 100 to 350 mg.

Ingredients:

BUTTER; 1 1/2 CUP SUGAR; 1 TSP VANILLA ESSENCE; 4 EGGS; 1 CUP CAKE FLOUR;
2 CUP SELF RISING FLOUR; 500G CAKE FRUIT MIX; 2 DESSERT SPOONS OIL
Method:
CREAM BUTTER, SUGAR AND VANILLA ESSENCE. ADD EGGS ONE AT TIME, BEATING
WELL AFTER EACH EDITION. SIFT FLOURS AND ADD TO CREAMED MIXTURE AND POUR
OIL ONTO FRUIT MIXTURE. MIX WELL. POUR MIXTURE INTO GREASED LINED LOAF
PAN. BAKE AT 150c FOR 1 1/2 HOURS OR UNTIL SKEWER COMES OUT CLEAN.
