Abu Hurairah (May allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him) said, "Look at those who are inferior in status to you and do not look at those who are superior in status to you, for this will keep you from belittling Allah's Favour to you.'' [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
This is the wording in Sahih Muslim. The narration in Al-Bukhari is: Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him) said: "When one of you looks at someone who is superior in status to him in property and appearance, he should look at someone who is inferior in status to him".
Commentary: By looking at the worldly goods and riches of others, a person gradually becomes unthankful for the blessings which Allah has bestowed on him. The best remedy for this "disease" is that which has been prescribed by Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him) in this Hadith.
The remedy is that one should look at the people who have lesser worldly goods and riches than one's own. If a person has a small house of his own which can protect him from the harshness of weather, then he has no need to see enviously towards sky-high buildings and palatial houses of others. He should look at the homeless people who spend their nights on footpaths and live in huts which in rain leak like sieve and are swept away by a wave of flood water, etc.
But from a religious angle, one should see towards those who are more fearful of Allah and observe their Salat meticulously so that one becomes more fond of obedience of Allah, has a greater fear of Him and devotes more time to prayer and devotion. This dispensation is also given in other Ahadith.

Fried Savoury Chops
Ingredients
1kg Lamb chops - 1tblsp red ginger masala - 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1tsp ground Dhania - 1tsp Salt - 1 tsp ground Jeeroo - 1/2 tsp fine
black pepper - 1/4 tap arad - 1/4 cup water.
Batter
1 cup self raising flour - 1 small onion grated ) Processed -
1 small tomato grated) - 1 Egg - 1/2 tsp salt - 1 tblsp tal (sesame seeds)
- 1/2 tsp fine red chillies - 2 tblsps freshly chopped greens - Water
as required.
Method
• Combine all the ingredients together in a pot and cook over
medium heat adding more water if necessary until chops are tender. Allow
to cool.
• Mix all the ingredients for the batter together in a bowl
and mix well, adding just enough water to form a batter of medium consistency.
• Dip the chops in the batter and shallow fry in a non stick
frying pan until golden brown on both sides.

HOW TO PUT THE RIGHT PERSON IN THE RIGHT JOB?
Put about 100 bricks in some particular order in a closed room with an open window. Then send 2-3 candidates into the room and close it from outside. Leave them alone and come back after 2 hours, and then analyse the situation:
(a) If they are counting and recounting the number of bricks - PUT THEM IN ACCOUNTS.
(b) If they have messed up the whole place with the bricks - PUT THEM IN ENGINEERING.
c) If they are arranging the bricks in some other order - PUT THEM IN PLANNING.
(d) If they are throwing the bricks at each other - PUT THEM IN OPERATIONS.
(e) If they are sleeping - PUT THEM IN SECURITY.
(f) If they have broken! the bricks into pieces - PUT THEM IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY.
(g) If they are sitting idle - PUT THEM IN THE HUMAN RESOURCE DEPARTMENT.
(h) If they are talking to each other and not a single brick has moved - PUT THEM IN TOP MANAGEMENT!!!
