All praise is due to Allaah, Lord of all the worlds. Peace and blessings be upon the Messenger, his household and companions.

Brethren in faith! Islaam, in its keenness to bring happiness and success to humankind, has made the purposes of its laws lofty and noble. The goals of Islaam are one of the sciences of Islaamic knowledge that many scholars give special attention.

Brethren in faith! Whatever action a Muslim takes, however good his intention, should be in accordance with the goals of Islaam and the Sunnah of the Messenger, so that one does not ignorantly destroy one's Islaam. Whenever violation of the goals of Islaam occurs, there occurs misguidance and leading others astray. Ibn Taymiyyah said about those Khawaarij who revolted against the companions of the Prophet, "It is rare that some revolt against the authority except that their action causes greater evil than good."

Ibn Al-Qayyim said after establishing the fact that the law of Islaam was made for the interest of mankind, "This is a great favour the ignorance of which causes huge mistake in understanding the Sharee'ah."

In these days that our Ummah is undergoing difficulties, it is becomes imperative to deeply study and understand the goals of this religion. Tangible steps must be taken to reform our theoretical and academic curriculum and practical and social methods especially in areas that affect our youths who are the pillar of the Ummah and the source of its power.

Yes, they must be made to learn the goals of their religion so that they might keep protected against corrupt ways and undesirable deeds. Doing this will increase them in knowledge and show them in the best form that Islaam want them to be seen. It will also make their deeds emanate from the spirit of Islaam and its goals. Then the needs of the Da'wah could be fulfilled and the demands of this age could be met. read more

Ingredients
3 Potatoes – Mashed
6 cups flour
¾ cup sugar
1 pkt yeast
1 cup milk
3 eggs
1 tsp salt
40 grams butter or margarine

Method
Place flour, sugar, salt and yeast in a bowl. Add butter to mash potatoes and and then add this to the flour mix. Add eggs and milk. Add water if necessary to make soft dough and knead very well. Allow to rise till double in size. Knock down and take pieces to make saucer size rounds. Fill with steak filling brush with egg sprinkle sesame seeds and bake. Do not over bake if you want really soft rolls.

Filling
1 kilo steak cut into cubes

Marinate overnight with:
Dry red chillies, salt, dry dhana, arid, ginger, red masala, and 3 tsps each of mustard sauce, lemon juice, vinegar and mayonnaise.

Make vagaar with:
1 onion, sliced green chillies, sliced garlic, jeeroo. Then add steak and cook until done. Add 4 tblsp each of the following : Tomato sauce, tomato paste, Lastly add ½ grated tomato

To warm biscuits, pancakes, or muffins that were refrigerated, place them in a microwave with a cup of water. The increased moisture will keep the food moist and help it reheat faster.
