THE BAT: The ordinary bat that flies around at night, a remarkably nimble Creature in the air, cannot take off from a level place. If it is placed on the floor or flat ground, all it can do is shuffle about helplessly and, No doubt, painfully, until it reaches some slight elevation from which it can throw itself into the air. Then, at once, it takes off like a flash.

THE BUMBLEBEE: A bumblebee, if dropped into an open tumbler, will be there until it dies, unless it is taken out. It never sees the means of escape at the top, but persists in trying to find some way out through the sides near the bottom. It will seek a way where none exists, until it completely destroys itself.

PEOPLE: In many ways, we are like the buzzard, the bat, and the bumblebee. We struggle with all our problems and frustrations, not realising that all we have to do is look up!

That's the answer, the escape route and the solution to any problem! Just look up.

Someone enquired from Aisha (Radiyallahu Anha): "Did Rasoolullah sallallahu alaihe wasallam recite poetry?" She replied, "He sometimes as an example recited the poetry of Abdullah ibn Rawahah (and sometimes of other poets). He sometimes recited this couplet of Tarfah: ‘Sometimes that person brings news to you whom you have not compensated.”  [TIRMIZI]

COMMENTARY: (The meaning of this is that if one wants to know anything about a place, then one will have to pay a person for obtaining information. A person has to be given money etc., for the journey in order to obtain information. At times it may so happen that the news is received without having to spend anything. Someone comes and gives full news.

Some of the Ulama have written that this example given by Sayyidina Rasoolullah (sallallahu alaihe wasallam), that without any remuneration, he has given (humanity) the news of Jannah, Jahannum, Qiyaamah, particulars and information regarding the Ambiyaa alaihis salaam, the signs of the future etc. Yet the kuffar (non-believers) do not appreciate this. In this hadith two poets are mentioned, Sayyidina Abdullah ibn Rawahah (Radiyallahu Anha) a famous Sahaabi who accepted Islam before the Hijrah of Sayyidina Rasoolullah (sallallahu alaihe wasallam)  in the Battle of Mu’ata. The second poet is Tarfah, a famous poet of Arabia. In the famous book of Arabic literature ‘Sab’ah Mu’allaqah’, the second Mu’allaqah has been written by him. He lived before the advent of Islam.)

Ingredients:
1 kg chicken fillet – cubed fine
2 tablespoons maizena
1 cup (250ml) sour cream
1 tsp dhanna – jeero
1 tsp lemon pepper
1 tsp chicken spice
salt to taste
1 tablespoon crushed garlic
1 tablespoon green chillies
chopped green dhannia

Method:
Mix everything together. Roll like cutlets. Roll in breadcrumbs. Freeze. Dip in egg and fry in medium oil until done.

The foreman then turns to the Scotsman and says, "You were supposed to shovel this pile of sand."

The Scotsman says, "Aye, boot ah could nay get meeself a shoovel. Ye left th' Chinese gadgie in charge of supplies, boot ah could nay find him either."

The foreman is really angry and storms off toward the pile of sand. He is looking for the Chinese guy.

Just then, the Chinese guy leaps out from behind the the pile of sand and yells, "SUPPLIES!"
