HADITH/SAYINGS OF MUHAMMAD
(SALLALLAHU ALAYHI WA SALLAM) |
|
Ubadah
bin As-Samit (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger
of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him) said, "He who bears witness
that there is no true god except Allah, alone having no
partner with Him, that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger,
that `Isa (Jesus) is His servant and Messenger and he (Jesus)
is His Word which He communicated to Maryam (Mary) and His
spirit which He sent to her, that Jannah is true and Hell
is true; Allah will make him enter Jannah accepting whatever
deeds he accomplished". [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
Another
narration in Muslim is: the Messenger of Allah (Peace Be
Upon Him) said, "Whosoever testifies that there is
no true god except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger
of Allah, Allah (SWT) saves him from the Fire (of Hell)".
Commentary:
This Hadith confirms that all Prophets of Allah were human
and thus refutes those who attribute divinity to them and
exclude them from the category of human or regard them a
part of Allah. This
Hadith tells us that the belief that Prophets were men constitutes
part of Faith and denial of it is the denial of a part of
Faith and amounts to evasion from Tauhid - Oneness of Allah.
Prophet
Esa (Jesus, Peace Be Upon Him) has been referred in the
Qur'an as "Kalimatullah" (the Word of Allah) (4:171).
Meaning is that he was born without being fathered by anyone,
only on the express fiat of Allah.
This
Hadith shows that a major sin does not cast a Muslim out
of the fold of Islam, as is believed by certain deviant
sects. Such a person does remain a Muslim and his eligibility
for admission into Jannah also remains intact but his admission
entirely depends on the pleasure of Allah. He may forgive
a sinful Muslim and send him to Jannah even in the initial
stage or keep him in Hell for sometime and then send him
to Jannah. Thus, when it is said that Muslims are protected
against Hell, it means that they will not abide in Hell
for ever. It will be a temporary phase varying with his
sins. When that punishment comes to an end, or even before
it, when Almighty, Allah, wills, he will be removed from
Hell to Jannah.

Allah,
In Your Love
by Umara Saleem
----------------
I
travelled on hand and knee
Upon the scorching unconquerable deserts
When
I had my head turned away from You
The famine in my soul, unquenched,
Remained with Your every bounty
There
was a ripping of my soul
With my descent away from You
Like the Moon loses a part of itself
As it leaves its rightful place
The
sweet Winds carried your name to my body
Falling upon my self made deaf ears
I
was Ignorance
A hollow reed
I
tried to stomp my connection
But my ever faithful soul
Escaped my treacherous body
And flew to Your keep
My every cell cried Your love
My
heart was senseless
Without Your presence
Still,
life reverberated in me
Held up by inescapable threads
That will always bind me to You
With
Your infinite touch
My thirsty eyes drink sunrises, sunsets
Captured, enraptured by Your beauty
My
smiles pay homage to Your greatness
My ears are ever alert
Seeking threads of Your praises
Spoken by Your lovers
Both Man and Nature |

Never Had cell phones, e-mail, internet, fax and all, how
did Your communicate?" Binba replies: "Ja
Inba, in uver days we did not have internet, fax, telephone,
e-mail, she-mail and all. We used pigeons. Me and Pelu should

Confused Inba asks, "how did you use pigeons Binba?"
"You see Inba", responds Binba,
"I should tie a message to the pigeon's leg and then
I fly the pigeon to Pelu's house. But one day I did not

I think I'm doing. I say Pelu, I give you miss call".
