All praise is due to Allah and may His choicest salutations
continue to descend upon our Master and Leader Muhammad.
"It is not their flesh or their blood that reaches
Allah. Rather it is your piety that reaches Him. Thus has
He disposed them for your benefit so that you may magnify
Allah for His guiding you. And give good news to the virtuous."
(22:37)
Muslims
around the globe once again relive the heartrending sacrifices
of the family of Ibrahim (as). When Ibrahim (as) left his
wife Hajira and her suckling child in the uninhabited sand
dunes of Arabia and began walking away, she turned to him
in all earnestness and cried: '0 Ibrahim! To whom are you
leaving us?' He replied: '(I am leaving you) in Allah's
(care).' She replied: 'In that case He will never leave
us to perish”
Armed only with faith in Allah Hajira (as) painstakingly
ascended mount Safa, scanning the endless desert mounds
for water or for signs of human life. Alas! The desert only
offered her it’s blazing heat and deafening silence. When
she ascended Al- Marwa for the seventh time she heard a
voice… and agonizingly cried out: '0, (whoever you may be)!
You have made me hear your voice; have you got something
to help me?' And behold! She saw an angel at the place of
Zam-zam, digging the earth till water flowed from it. She
tried to contain the flow of water. Nabi (saw) has said:
"May Allah bestow mercy on Ismail's mother! Had she
let the Zam-zam to flow without trying to control it, Zam-zam
would have been a stream flowing on the surface of the earth."

public inquiry into the UK's role in the Iraq war is set to

Butter Tandoori Naan
2
cups self rising flour
2 Tbsp oil
1 ½ tsp sugar
½ tsp salt
¾ cup milk & water mix
Ghee
Garlic Butter
Mix
flour, oil, sugar and salt in a food processer. Make a soft
dough with the milk and water. Cover with cling wrap and leave
dough for 1 hour. Divide dough into 8 balls. Roll dough into
a thick triangle shape. Heat on stick tava, brush with ghee
and cook naan one at a time on both sides. When naan is cooked,
brush with garlic butter and wrap in a kitchen cloth.

A judge in a village court had gone on vacation. Nasrudin
was asked to be temporary judge for a day. Nasrudin sat on
the Judge's chair with a serious face, gazing around the public
and ordered the first case be brought-up for hearing.
"You
are right," said Nasrudin after hearing one side.
"You
are right," he said after hearing the other side.
"But
both cannot be right," said a member of public sitting
in the audience.
"You
are right, too" said Nasrudin.
Everyone
is right in their own way. If everyone know this, then the
world would be much better place to live. |
