Abu
Sa`id Samurah bin Jundub (May Allah be pleased with him)
reported: I was a boy during the lifetime of Messenger of
Allah (Peace Be Upon Him), and used to commit to my memory
what he said, but I do not narrate what I preserved because
there were among us people who were older than me. [Al-Bukhari
and Muslim]
Commentary: Ibn `Allan has stated that scholars
of Hadith have disliked it that in the presence of an eminent
and a pious scholar of Hadith in a city, a man inferior
to him narrates a Hadith.
We learn from this Hadith the following:
1. It is improper to talk about the Sunnah of the Prophet
(Peace Be Upon Him) in the presence of someone who is older
and knows better in this respect.
2. It is permissible for young children to attend the gathering
of the aged and the learned.
3. Honouring and respecting the olderly.

NAAN
Ingredients
7 Cups Flour - 1 pkt Instant yeast - 7 tblsps Sugar - 2 eggs
21/2 cups warm water - 3 tblsps oil - ½ tblsp slt - 4 tblsps
ghee - 1 tsp Sumf - 11/2 cups milk
Method
Beat together oil, sugar, eggs and ghee. Add water, milk and
sumf. Add flour, salt and yeast, form a soft dough (if needed
more milk may be added). Cover and allow to rise until double
its size. Form into balls, put on greased oven trays allow
to rise. Brush with egg. Sprinkle Tal or kas-kas. Bake on
180 until golden brown. Brush with melted butter. Enjoy. |

i was born my Eyes were closed
& i was told what i would see.
when i got older my Eyes opened;
i didn't look i just believed.
then i started to See & Look,
Think, Read & Remember-
Words made things complicated;
the Truth i saw was Simpler
so i went to the teachers who taught
& said i don't See what you Teach.
they
said "that's OK, son: neither do we.
Forget what you See & Believe.'
i said: "if i close my Eyes again

A football coach walked into the locker room before a game,
looked over to his star player and said, "I'm not supposed
to let you play since you failed math, but we need you in
there. So, what I have to do is ask you a math question, and
if you get it right, you can play."
The
player agreed, and the coach looked into his eyes intently
and asks, "Okay, now concentrate hard and tell me the
answer to this. What is two plus two?"
The
player thought for a moment and then he answered, "4?"
"Did you say 4?" the coach exclaimed, excited that
he got it right.
At that, all the other players on the team began screaming,
