CORRECT FAITH

ll praise is due to Allaah, Lord of all the worlds, may peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allaah, his household and companions.

Fellow Muslims! Fear Allaah in your words and deeds, for “whoever fears Allaah, and keeps his duty to Him, He will provide him a way out (of every difficulty), and He will provide him from sources he could never imagine.” (At-Talaaq: 2-3)

Dear Muslims! The greatest blessing that Allaah bestowed on mankind is His sending of Muhammad – peace and blessings be on him – with a pure religion that brings all good to mankind and protects them from all that is evil through its principles of justice, brotherhood, freedom and peace.

Brothers in Islaam! The faith that the Prophet established its pillars is the source of all good and felicity for those who follow its guidance. This faith is the pure tree with ripe and everlasting fruits. Allaah says, “See you not how Allaah set forth a parable? – A goodly word as a goodly tree, whose root is firmly fixed and its branches (reach) to the sky. Method
1. Sift flour and salt and add crushed wheat and mix, add yeast
2. Add oil and honey to water and mix into dry ingredients.
3. Spoon into a well greased 23cm loaf tin, cover and allow to rise in a warm place for about 20 minutes until double in size.
4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180c for 45/50 minutes
5. Turn onto a wire rack to cool.

Variation: For a delicious seed loaf add 15ml poppy seeds and 30ml sunflower seeds.

PAIN BETTER THAN DOMINION

Allah gave Pharaoh abundance of riches and wealth, so that he boasted that he was 'lord supreme.' In the whole of his life he suffered no headache, so that he never cried to Allah, wretch that he was. Allah granted him the absolute dominion of the world, but withheld from him pain and sorrow and cares. Because pain and sorrow and loads of cares are the lot of Allah's friends in the world. Pain is better than the dominion of the world, so that thou mayest call on Allah in secret. The cries of those free from pain are dull and cold. The cries of the sorrowful come from the burning hearts."
