THE
STORY |
CHANGE
OF STRATEGY
----------------------
A man was standing out of the building with sign written:
"I am blind, please help". A 'creative publicist'
was walking by him and stopped to observe. He saw that the
blind man had only a few coins in his hat. He dropped in a
few more coins and, without asking for permission, took the
sign, turned it around and wrote another announcement. He
placed the sign by the blind man's feet and left.
That
afternoon the creative publicist returned to where the blind
man sat and noticed that his hat was full of bills and coins.
The blind man recognized his footsteps and asked if it was
he who had re-written his sign and he wanted to know what
he had written on it. The publicist responded: "Nothing
that was not true, I just wrote your sign out a little differently."
He smiled and went on his way.
The
new sign read: "TODAY IS SPRING AND I CANNOT SEE IT."
Sometimes
you need to change your strategy when something does not go
your way and you'll see it may just be for the best. Remember,
if you always do what you've always done, you'll always get
what you always got... |

6 pieces of deboned fish - 1 ½ cups milk - 2 tblsps
flour - 2 eggs well beaten - 1 tsp garlic - 1 tsp green
chillies - Salt and pepper to taste - 1 cup grated cheese
- 1 tblsp fresh thyme.
Method
Poach the fish gently for 15 minutes in a pan with enough

dish. Mix all the ingredients together and pour over the
fish cover and bake at 180 for 30-40 minutes or until the

HEALTH
TIPs |
Ensure
that you switch off the lights before going to bed. Be extra
cautious if you have paraffin lamps because the harm of this
is much greater. It (paraffin) causes the air to become dry
and causes damage to the brains and eyes. In certain cases
this has also caused death. |

A
THOUGHT |
VISITATION
------------
It is written in the Torah: "Go to see a sick man even
to a distance of one mile. Join a funeral prayer even to the
of three miles and meet with a friend for the sake of God
even to the distance of four miles."
The
Prophet said: "Had I been invited to a place in the village
of Gamim (It is several miles off from Medinah), I would have
accepted it." |
|
THE
SMILE |
ANSWERING
THE TELEPHONE
-----------------------------
Nasruddin with two red ears went to his doctor. The doctor
asked him what had happened to his ears and he answered.
"I
was ironing a shirt and the phone rang but instead of picking
up the phone I accidentally picked up the iron and stuck it
to my ear."
"Oh Dear!" the doctor exclaimed in disbelief. "But
what happened to your other ear?"
"The scoundrel called back!" |
