Surah
Al-Qiyamah: 75 - (The Resurrection)
This Surah is Makki. It contains 40 verses and 2 sections
With the name of Allah, the All-Merciful, the Very-Merciful
I
swear by the Day of Resurrection, [1]
and I swear by the self-reproaching conscience, (that Resurrection
is a reality.) [2]
Does man think that We will never reassemble his bones? [3]
COMMENTARY:
The negative particle la 'nay' prefixed to the oath
in this context has no meaning. When the object of oath is
to refute the false thought of an opponent, this redundant
negative particle is used before oath. This usage is commonplace
in Arabic idiom. Such usage is sometimes employed as an answer
to some objection or in repudiation of what is said before
or to emphasize an important subject.
This
Surah refutes and rebuts doubts about the possibility of the
Resurrection by the rejecters. The Surah first swears an oath
by the Resurrection, and then by the self-reproaching conscience.

NEGATIVE
DAWAH and MINDING your LANGUAGE
-------------------------------------------------
Allah
does NOT love the public utterance of hurtful speech (language)
unless (it be) by one to whom injustice has been done; and
Allah is Hearing, Knowing. (Al_Quraan_004.148)
Always
use the best words and never target anyone directly, never
directly say to anyone "you are an infidel and you
will go to Hell" etc. "Show forgiveness, speak
for justice and avoid the ignorant." (Al_Quraan_007.199)
It
is noticed that some ignorant people directly point FIVE
fingers to each other and even use words like SHAITAAN or
Disbeliever or other abusing and hurting words etc. Try
to use soft and polite words. Try to unite on those which
are common among us first and try to make the environment
friendly to inform each other and make Duaa for each other.
It
is not proper Muslim behaviour to use any words which might
hurt others. Even some words are effective enough to kill
and now in the west we have seen people, especially teenagers
doing suicide or homicide to those who were bullying him
/ her, and so this is a murder case without the use of weapons
etc. There should be wisdom when we talk as a good friend,
good informer and effective communicator. Remember we are
helpers NOT killers. So help as many people as you can to
protect them from Fires of Hell, with Positive Dawah.
"Invite
(all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching;
and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious:
for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His Path,
and who receive guidance." (Al_Quraan_016.125)
Also Remember that both Musaa (pbuh) and Khizr (pbuh) were
prophets and obeyed Allah BUT disagreed on some of their
mission. So we might differ in our missions to help the
world, BUT our goal to obey Allah is the same. You might
be obeying Allah, according to what you understand and I
am also obeying Allah according to what you understand.

China
has marked the 30th anniversary of the start of its capitalist
revolution with a speech from Hu Jinato, the Communist Party
leader, who urged continued economic reform but said it would
not lead to Western-style democracy.
A record cut in oil output by the Organisation of Petroleum
Exporting Countries has failed to spark a rise in the price
of crude.
A UN-backed tribunal is set to give its verdict on the alleged
mastermind of Rwanda's 1994 genocide.
A five-year-old boy was shot and injured by robbers on the
run in Booysens yesterday.
Superintendent
Eugene Opperman said the boy was hit in the head at the Southdale
shopping centre around 10:00 when four armed robbers fired
shots when they were confronted by security guards.
The Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has
decided to cut oil production by 2.2 million barrels a day.The
cut is intended to push up the price of oil that has fallen
from $140 to less than $40 a barrel.

CHICKEN
LAGAN
Ingredients
2 cups chicken fillet cubed - 1 tsp Ghee - ½ tsp salt - 1
tblsp green chillies - ½ tsp black pepper.
Braise
the chicken with the above ingredients until cooked. Soak
4 slices of bread in 1 cup of milk for 15 minutes.
1
Tin cream style sweetcorn. 2 eggs - 2oz butter - ¼ cup peas
- 1 tblsp sojee - 1 tsp Baking powder - chopped Dhana.
Method
Whisks eggs and add to bread mixture. Add rest of ingredients
to milk mixture including the cooked chicken and mix well.
Pour into pyrex dish and bake in oven at 180c for approximately
1 hour. |

| HANDY HINT |
Watch
out for blisters while raking. To make a rake easier on the
hands, pick up some foam pipe insulation from the hardware
store. A piece of 3/4-inch pipe insulation should fit a rake
handle. Stretch the insulation over the length of the rake
for some extra padding. |

day provide a winding-sheet for all thy Alexander-like glory.

surgeon, a very angry woman stormed up to her desk. "Someone
stole my wig while I was having surgery yesterday,"
she complained.

doctor came out and tried to calm her down. "I assure

he said. "Why do you think it was taken here?"
