FIQH (ISLAMIC JURISPRUDENCE)
If there is any impurity on the body or clothing but water cannot be found anywhere, then the Salaah should be offered with the impurity.

THE MESSAGE
Pre-ordainment
-----------------
No calamity befalls on the earth or in yourselves but is inscribed in the Book of Decrees - before We bring it into existence. (Qur 'an 57: 22)
The pen has dried, the pages have been lifted: all events that shall come to pass have already been written.
Nothing shall ever happen to us except what Allah has ordained for us) (Qur 'an 9: 51)

Whatever has befallen you was not meant to escape you, and whatever has escaped you was not meant to befall you: If this belief were to be finally ingrained in your heart, then all hardship and difficulty would become ease and comfort. The Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said: "Whoever Allah wishes good for, He inflicts him (with hardship)."

For this reason, do not feel overly troubled if you are afflicted with sickness, the death of a son, or a loss in wealth. Allah has decreed these matters to occur and the decisions are His and His alone. When we truly have this faith, we shall be rewarded well and our sins shall be atoned for. For those that are afflicted with disaster, glad tidings await then so remain patient and happy with your Lord.

I.e. cannot be questioned as to what He does while they will be questioned.) (Qur'an 21: 23)

You will never completely feel at ease until you firmly believe that Allah has already pre-ordained all matters. The pen has dried and with if has been written everything that will happen to you. Therefore do not feel remorse over that which is not in your hands. Do not think that you could have prevented the leave from falling, the water from flowing, the wind from blowing, or the glass from breaking. You could not have prevented these things, whether you wanted to or not. All that has been preordained shall come to pass.

(Then whosoever wills let him believe, and whosoever wills, let him disbelieve. (Qur'an 18: 29)

Surrender yourself: believe in preordainment, before pangs of anger and regret overwhelm you. If you have done all that was in your power, and afterwards what you had been striving against still takes place, have firm faith that it was meant to be. Do not say, 'Had I done such-and-such, such-and-such would have happened'; rather say, 'This is the decree of Allah, and what He wishes, He does.'

DUA (PRAYER)
At the Time of Thunder
Whenever Abdullãh bin Az-Zubayr RA would hear thunder he would stop talking, and say Subhãna 'allathee yusabbihur-ra`du bihamdihi, wal- malã'ikatu min kheefatihi. Glory be to Allah Whom the thunder glorifies in Praise, and [so do] the Angels out of fear of him.

HEALTH TIP

NEWS
Exams set by the Free State education department for Grade 12 pupils have been postponed because of the strike. The exams should have started on Monday but had been postponed indefinitely.

A major cyclone is threatening to hit Gulf Arab states with winds of up to 250 km/h. This has pushed the price of oil towards $71 a barrel.

The G8 summit is set to begin in Germany today. G8 leaders will discuss foreign policy issues including Iran's nuclear programme, Middle East peace, Sudan and Kosovo.

The United Nations has praised the country's national aids plan. UN Aids chief, Peter Piot, says the country is now well placed to lead Africa into a new phase in responding to the disease.

Gauteng police have warned the public against investing in pyramid schemes. Superintendent Lungelo Dlamini says that people lost over R15 million by investing money into more than 17 pyramid schemes.

Relatives of Abdul Rahman Al-Amri, a Saudi prisoner who died at Guantanamo Bay Prison in Cuba, are refusing to accept that he committed suicide.

Wet, rainy and cold has hit the Gauteng province again. A number of accidents have taken place in and around Johannesburg today.

Health Minister Manto Tshabalala-Msimang is to get back to work. This follows her three-month break she took to recover from a liver transplant.

The government has refused to change its wage offer to workers saying their demands are not realistic.

Meanwhile... Two more unions affiliated to Cosatu are considering striking in solidarity with public service workers.

Taliban leader Mansoor Dadullah says Usama Bin Laden is well and alive. Bin Laden apparently sent a letter of condolence to Dadullah regarding the death of his brother Mullah Dadullah and other senior Taliban fighters last month.

Anti apartheid activist, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela has been denied entry into Canada. The ex-wife of former president Nelson Mandela was to speak at a gala fundraiser in Toronto.

RECIPE
CHOW MEIN
1 Tbsp ghee - ½ tsp crushed garlic - 1 small onion - 2 chopped tomatoes - 1 tsp red chillies - ½ tsp salt - ½ tsp dhana geero - ½ chicken - 1kg original stir fry - 2 cups spaghetti boiled - 2 Tbsp soya sauce - ¼ cup spring onions - 4 Tbsp lemon juice - 1 tsp green chillies - Salt & pepper to taste.

Heat ghee and add the garlic. Add onions and saute’ until light pink. Add tomato and spices. Stir fry the chicken in a little oil and add to the tomato mixture. Add the cooked spaghetti and the soya sauce. Finally add the spring onions, lemon juice, salt, pepper green chillies and steam for 5-10 min.

A THOUGHT
Those who attend permanently at the place of worship of His glory, confess the imperfection of their worship and say: We have not worshipped thee according to the requirements of thy worship; and those who describe the splendour of His beauty are rapt in amazement saying: We have not known thee as thou oughtest to be known.

If someone asks me for his description,
what shall I despairing say of One who has no form?
The lovers have been slain by the beloved.
No voice can come from the slain.

THE SMILE
A pregnant woman gets into a car accident and falls into a deep coma. Asleep for nearly 6 months, when she wakes up she sees that she is no longer pregnant and frantically asks the doctor about her baby.

The doctor replies, "Ma'am you had twins! a boy and a girl. Your brother from Maryland came in and named them." The woman thinks to herself, "No, not my brother... he's an idiot!" She asks the doctor, "Well, what's the girl's name?"

"Denise."

"Wow, that's not a bad name, I like it! What's the boy's name?"

"Denephew" he replied.
