THE
MESSAGE
The Result of Young People of Marriageable Age who Do Not Get Married
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When there is no Taqwa (fear of Allah) in an unmarried person’s life,
the passions of such a person are fulfilled in one of the following ways:
1. Having unlawful relationships with men or women.
2. Having mistresses.
3. Visiting escort agencies and prostitutes.
4. Frequenting clubs or discos.
5. Reading pornographic material.
6. Gazing at women with lust.
The
Solutions
To make Nikaah. Nikaah in Islam is very simple, easy and full of Barakah.
If one cannot make Nikaah due to some Shar’î reason, he/she should
resort to the following:
1.
Keep fast.
2. Protect the eyes from looking at strange men/women.
3. Avoid mixed gatherings.
4. Have the thought that Allah is at all times watching and aware of your
actions.
5. Refrain from sitting and working in privacy with strange women.
6. Be wary of the dictates of the Nafs.
7. Ask Allah for protection from disobedience.
A
Youth Seeks Permission to Commit Adultery
A youth (from the outlying regions) came to Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam
and said: "Please permit me to commit adultery." The Companions
of the Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam took this very ill and were enraged
at his words; but Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said to him: "Come
nearer to me. Would you like anyone to commit adultery with your mother?"
He said: "Not at all." Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said: "Then
other people will also never tolerate such a shameful act with their mothers."
Then Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam asked him the same question about his
sister, aunt, etc. And he answered each time in the negative. Then Nabi Sallallahu
Alayhi Wasallam put his hand on his chest and prayed: "O Allah! Purify
his heart, forgive his sins and guard him against adultery." The reporters
say that, after this, nothing was more hateful to him than adultery.
DUA
(PRAYER)
Asking for Rain
It is reported by Jabir bin Abdullah RA that he said: Some weeping women came
to the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam, so the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi
Wasallam said: Allãhumma sqinã ghaythan mugheethan, maree'an,
maree`an, nãfi`an, ghayra dhãrrin, `ãjilan, ghayra 'ãjilãn
whereupon the sky covered them. “O my ilah water us with a rain that
will rescue us, be to our health, be abounding in herbage, be beneficial to
us not harmful [not destructive to pasture, etc.] and in haste not delay”.
THE
STORY
Yours "Forever"
It was a busy morning, approximately 8:30 am, when an elderly gentleman in
his 80's, arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He stated that
he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 am.
I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over in an hour before someone would be able to see him. I saw him looking at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound.
On exam, it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound. While taking care of his wound, we began to engage in conversation. I asked him if he had a doctor's appointment this morning, as he was in such a hurry. The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife.
I then inquired as to her health. He told me that she had been there for a while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer's disease. As we talked, and I finished dressing his wound, I asked if she would be worried if he was a bit late. He replied that she no longer knew who he was; that she had not recognized him in five years now.
I was surprised, and asked him. And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are? He smiled as he patted my hand and said: She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is.
I
had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arm, and
Thought… That is the kind of love I want in my life. True love is an
acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be.

POEM
The light of Mohammed SAW
By Ebrahim Mphutlane Wa Bofelo
O!
Harbinger of light
I tried to use white
To paint in my mind
And to engrave in my heart
The picture and image of luster
That his face evoke in me
But it dawned on my mind
That it is not sufficient
To capture in the metaphor of colours
The pure illumination
That blinds the naked eye
The
most poetic minds
Amongst the most grandiloquent Arabs of Jahiliya
Weaved threads upon threads of lyrics and reams of couplets
And laid rhymes upon rhymes to belt satanic verses
Against your pure personality and
The purity of your message
But could not produce a single verse
To measure up to the volumes of truths
Articulated in the revelation sent unto you
And manifested in your lifestyle
PERSONALITY
Abu Dujana RA
Amongst the Lions of Allah was a companion by the name of Abu Dujana Sammak
bin Kharsha RA. He was from the Ansar and accepted Islam early in the Prophet's
Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam mission. He was known for his piety and strength
and bravery in Jihad. During the battle of Uhud, the second most significant
battle (after the victory of Badr), the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam
urged his Companions to fight and spurred them to show stamina and steadfastness
in the Jihad. He started to implant the spirit of boldness and bravery in
them. To wage and inflame them and maintain their zeal in the fight, he Sallallahu
Alayhi Wasallam drew his sword, held it in his hand and called out to his
Sahaba and said, "Who is ready to take this sword and fulfill its right?"
Many notable Sahaba set out to take it. But it was granted to none of them.
The Messenger of Allah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said, "Sahl bin Haneef and Abu Dujana have been as courageous as you are in the Jihad." After the death of the Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam, during the Khalifah of Abu Bakr RA, Abu Dujana fought until he was Shaheed (martyred) against the army of Musailima al-Kathab [the Liar who claimed Prophethood in the lifetime of the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam and made war against his Sahaba when Abu Bakr was Khalifah.]
To us, his life is a legacy of sacrifice and lessons of bravery and fierceness against Kufr. He is the epitome of a true Mujahid. May the mercy of Allah be upon Abu Dujana RA and may He guide our Muslim youth towards the example he left behind. Ameen.
A
THOUGHT
I’ve learnt to love life’s journey, the destination. I’ve
learnt to look at all the good in the world and try to give some of it back
because I believed in it, completely and utterly. And I tried to do that,
in part, by telling others what I have learnt. By telling them this: Consider
the lilies of the field. Look at the fuzz on a baby's ear. Read in the back
yard with the sun on your face. Learn to be happy. And think of life as a
terminal illness, because if you do, you will live it with joy and passion
as it ought to be lived".
THE
SMILE
Little Johnny had finished his summer vacation and gone back to school. Two
days later his teacher phoned his mother to tell her that he was misbehaving.
"Wait a minute," she said. "I had Johnny with me for three
months and I never called you once when he misbehaved."
