FIQH (ISLAMIC JURISPRUDENCE)
It is Makrooh to offer any Salaah when the Iqaamah for a Faradh Salaah is being called out. However, if one has not offered the Sunnah of Fajr Salaah and one is sure or convinced that one will get one Rakaah with the congregation, then it will not be Makrooh to offer the Sunnah of Fajr Salaah. And the one who has already commenced with any Sunnah-Mu'akkadah, should complete it first.

THE MESSAGE
It Is Not Enough To Be Good; One Must Also Show The Right Path To Others Who Might Otherwise Do Evil.
S.A.Rehman
--------------

You know that to eliminate all kinds of vices from the world and to promote good is the responsibility of every Muslim. Allah, the Lord of the universe, says: "You are the best Ummah who have been created to show the right path to the people. You command for doing good and forbid from doing evil, and you have faith in Allah"

The Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam has also said that everyone amongst you is a caretaker and is responsible for his subordinates on the Day of Judgement. Rulers will be answerable for the citizens of their state; every family head will be accountable for the members of his family and will be asked as to what he did for their reformation, education and better life. He will be asked as to whether he forbade them from adopting bad ways, and helped them in leading a pious life or not. The Noble Quran has called this task as "Enjoining (People) To Do Good and Forbidding (Them) From Doing Evil." read more

DUA (PRAYER)
Allahumma Maghfiratuka awsau min thunooby wa rahmatuka arjaa indy min amaly. “O Allah! Your forgiveness is far more than my sins and (instead of my deeds) I have much more hope in Your Mercy”

BENEFIT: It comes in a Hadith that a person came crying to Rasulullah SAW saying… O my sins! O my sins!! Rasulullah SAW taught the person this Dua.

HEALTH TIP
The protein in sunflower seeds can't be beat. And it won't clog up your arteries like beef and chops coagulated with grease. Raw sunflower seeds make for a tasty mid-afternoon snack and they're a lot better for you than a Chocolate bar. Wash 'em down by chewing them until they're a liquid. Savor the subtle tastes as your mouth enzymes break them down and prepare the seeds for stomach digestion. Sprouted sunflower seeds on top of a baked potato that you've split down the middle are better for your heart and health than sour cream and a huge dab of butter.

HANDY HINT
Streamline your books. You may not want to hear this, but f you read it already and don't plan on re-reading it, you need to let it go. I know it was a great book, but it is taking up space on your shelves and potentially keeping out other great reading material. If it was so great, then share it with a friend and let them enjoy it as much as you did.

A THOUGHT
“Maybe you’re right.”

This phrase is highly effective in diffusing an argument and restoring frayed emotions. The flip side to "maybe your right" is the humility of admitting, "Maybe I'm wrong". Let's face it. When you have a heated argument with someone, all you do is cement the other person's point of view. They, or you, will not change their stance and you run the risk of seriously damaging the relationship between you. Saying "maybe you're right" can open the door to further explore the subject, in which you may then have the opportunity to get your view across in a more rational manner.

THE SMILE
A 60-year-old man went to a doctor for a check-up. The doctor told him, “You're in terrific shape. There's nothing wrong with you. Why, you might live forever; you have the body of a 35-year-old. By the way, how old was your father when he died?”

The 60-year-old responded, “Did I say he was dead?” The doctor was surprised and asked, ”How old is he and is he very active?” The 60-year-old responded, “Well, he is 82 years old and he still goes skiing three times a season and surfing three times a week during the summer.” The doctor couldn't believe it. So, he asked, “Well, how old was your grandfather when he died?”

The 60-year-old responded again, “Did I say he was dead?” The doctor was astonished. He said, “You mean to tell me you are 60 years old and both your father and your grandfather are alive? Is your grandfather very active?”

The 60-year-old said, “He goes skiing at least once a season and surfing once a week during the summer. Not only that,” said the patient, “my grandfather is 106 years old, and next week he is getting married again.” The doctor said, “At 106-years, why on earth would your grandfather want to get married?” His patient looked up at the doctor and said, “Did I say he wanted to?
