COMMENTARY: The fourth quality of the angels: (then proceed forward quickly...79:4). According to Divine instruction, the angels do not delay in transporting the souls of people to their good or their bad abodes. The soul of a believer is transported to the atmosphere and blessings of Paradise, and that of an unbeliever to the atmosphere and torment of Hell.

THE MESSAGE
SPECIAL FOCUS – RABIUL AWWAL
Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam and Cleanliness

The first thing in the religion brought by the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam is the care of cleanliness. The concept of cleanliness in Islam covers physical and spiritual, mundane and religious domains.

Before performing any rituals, prescribed by Islam, one should cleanse one’s body and dress). The place of worship and environment should be clean.

Before performing prayers or starting for pilgrimage, one has to make ablution (Wudhu). If he or she is in a state of unclean after having had a lawful intimate intercourse or post-natal period or other reasons, he or she has to take a complete bath by pouring clean water over the whole body.

In the case of daily prayer, every Muslim has to clean his/her private parts, face, hand, feet, mouth, nose and ears at least five times every day for the five daily prayers. This also reminds him/her to keep his/ her soul clean from unlawful deeds.

Cleanliness is not in the physical sense only. The body should be purified as well from evil doings that might harm his relationship with others and with Allah. He has to clean his mind from bad intentions or committing unlawful acts. He has to clean his heart from jealousy, hypocrisy and other evil desires. He has to embody hope, truthfulness, forgiveness, compassion, holiness, the sense of brotherliness, neighbourliness and other noble qualities.

He has to pay special attention to his diet against an unhealthy food medically and religiously. He has to keep his eyes, ears, and tongue from evils. These are among the noble characteristics as exemplified by Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam.

To clean the wealth, Islam instituted the Zakah system (way of purifying wealth). A person whose wealth has reached a certain point is obligated to pay Zakah. (Alms) which is a duty enjoined by Allah and undertaken by Muslims in the interest of society as a whole.

Among the great virtues of Islam is the command to do good and the prohibition to do evil. The good should be preserved and the evil should be discarded. In short, Islam is actually composed of a series of commands and prohibitions. All the commands and prohibitions are for the good of humanity. Allah the Most Knowing, the Most Merciful, did not decree any law and regulations but for the good and benefit of his creatures.

The prohibition was decreed because of its evil implications to humanity. The evils were created to test the human conscience and challenge their freewill in choosing between right and wrong.

All the commands and prohibitions from Allah as transmitted through His Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam was intended to purify the human soul in order to live a pure and clean life adored by Allah and human genesis.

DUA (PRAYER)
LAA HOWLA WALAA QUWWATA ILLAA BILLAH. There is no power, nor any strength except with the help of Allah SWT.

BENEFIT: This Dua is a cure for ninety-nine illnesses for which the lightest illness is worry and distress.

Abraham leaves Hajar and Ishmael AS
One day, Abraham woke up and asked his wife Hajar to get her son and prepare for a long journey. In a few days Abraham started out with his wife Hajar and their son Ishmael. The child was still nursing and not yet weaned. Abraham walked through cultivated land, desert, and mountains until he reached the desert of the Arabian Peninsula and came to an uncultivated valley having no fruit, no trees, no food, and no water. The valley had no sign of life. After Abraham had helped his wife and child to dismount, he left them with a small amount of food and water which was hardly enough for 2 days. He turned around and walked away. His wife hurried after him asking: "Where are you going Abraham, leaving us in this barren valley?"

Abraham did not answer her, but continued walking. She repeated what she had said, but he remained silent. Finally she understood that he was not acting on his own initiative. She realized that Allah had commanded him to do this. She asked him: "Did Allah command you to do so?" He replied: "Yes." Then his great wife said: "We are not going to be lost, since Allah Who has commanded you is with us."

Abraham invoked Almighty Allah thus: "O Our Lord! I have made some of my offspring to dwell in a valley with no cultivation, by Your Sacred House (the Kaaba at Makkah); in order, O our Lord, that they may offer prayers perfectly (Iqamah as Salaah) so fill some hearts among men with love towards them, and O Allah provide them with fruits so that they may give thanks. O our Lord! Certainly, You know what we conceal and what we reveal. Nothing on the earth or in the heavens is hidden from Allah." (Ch 14:37-38)

RECIPE
Pin Wheels
Ingredients
4 cups Flour - ¼ lb Butter - 2 tblsp Sugar - 1 tsp Salt - 1 pkt Yeast - 11/2 to 2 Cups lukewarm Milk.

Filling
1 Kg cubed chicken (marinate like pie meat). Green masala. Salt. Vinegar, Lemon Juice. Jeeru. 1 Grated tomato.

Make Vagaar, add meat, just before done add frozen corn, grated carrot, Reduce water.

Sauce
1.1/2 cup milk. 1 tblsp Maizena. ¼ tsp pepper. Add to filling.

Method
Mix Flour, sugar & salt. Rub in butter. Add yeast & give a small rub. Make dough with milk & leave to rise. Divide dough into 6 equal portions. Roll each ball out and then fill like a Swiss roll. Slice with electric knife & sprinkle with tal.

COOKING TIP
To give a better flavour to pureed onion, pierce onion with a long fork. Roast over direct flame turning all around, till out 2 layers are burnt. Wash burnt layers under running water, chop and puree onion.

THE SMILE
A little old woman called Mount Sinai Hospital. She said, “Mount Sinai Hospital? Hello. Darling, I'd like to talk with the person who gives the information about the patients. But I don't want to know if the patient is better or doing like expected, or worse, I want all the information from top to bottom, from A to Z.”
The voice on the other end of the line said, “Would you hold the line, please, that's a very unusual request?”
Then a very authoritative voice came on and said, “Are you the lady who is calling about one of the patients?” She said, “Yes, darling! I'd like to know the information about Sarah Finkel, in room 302.”
He said, “Finkel. Finkel. Let me see. Feinberg, Farber - Finkel. Oh yes, Mrs. Finkel is doing very well. In fact, she's had two full meals, her doctor says if she continues improving as she is, he is going to send her home Tuesday at twelve o'clock.”
The woman said, “Thank God! That's wonderful! She's going home at twelve o'clock! I'm so happy to hear that. That's wonderful news.” The guy on the other end said, “
From your enthusiasm, I take it you must be one of the close family?”
She said, “What close family? I'm Sarah Finkel myself! My doctor don't tell me anything!”
